MUSIC!
Heyloz! Hope everyone had a Gr8 Lunar New Year. Had a very uneventful Chu Yi and Chu Er haha. Watched 2 movies with my parents , Love Matters and Inkheart
Love Matters is basically another typical Jack Neo movie that tries to pinpoint issues in Singapore today. In this movie, obviously the message is about Love.
I thought that the movie was okay in the beginning. But then towards the end it became quite crappy la. I mean seriously, the conclusion of the story was so forced that it literally dragged the whole movie down.
I did think that it raised relevant issues though. I can empathise with some of the characters and the things that they go through, because in some form or another, they happened to me before.
I still think that the movie was far from good though, HAHA!!
The other movie I watched was Inkheart. One thing I have to say. God is unfair. Like what the hell lor. Brendan Fraser after all these years still looks so damn young. Its not fair. LOL.
Anyway, I thought that Inkheart was somewhat alright but still a bit lacking. The pace of the Movie was good but at time it became somewhat stale. I also thought that the acting of all the supporting cast with the exception of some, was not fantastic.
One thing that was utterly captivating though, was the scenery shown throughout the movie. Absolutely FANTABULOUS!! The mountain landscape, beautiful I tell you.
All in all I liked the movie but thought that it could be better haha!!
